The Texas Voices

Founded by Artistic Director Alan Dyer, The Texas Voices is a professional vocal chamber ensemble dedicated to promoting excellence in the choral arts. The chorus is a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) organization. The ensemble gave its debut performance in May 2003 and has gained recognition for its polished, nuanced sound, exceptional repertoire, and premiere works. In 2005, the chorus welcomed Debra Scroggins as its Composer-in-Residence. In December 2007, the chorus was the featured artist on WRR 101.1 FM's hour-long radio program, Music of the Metroplex.
