State Fair of Texas

The arrival of the State Fair of Texas signals to Texans that fall is officially here. Whether you go for the car shows, the midway games, the cooking demos, a football game, the rides or just to eat something fried on a stick, the State Fair has something for everyone.

Hours

State Fair of Texas exhibit buildings open at 10 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. each Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (closing at 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays). Midway opening times and closing times vary.

Admission

• General admission: $15
• Kids under 48 inches tall: $11
• Seniors 60 and over: $11
• Children 2 and under: Free
