Brookhaven College School of the Arts - Art Department

The Art Department in the Brookhaven College School of the Arts is dedicated to providing the finest educational environment for art students. Students interested in art can find freshman and sophomore-level classes for an associate degree and for transfer to a four-year institution. Our program also offers skills, concepts and resources for those preparing for graduate school, gaining additional professional training and continuing lifelong learning.
With state-of-the-art classrooms, labs and a museum-quality gallery, the Brookhaven College Art Department is a dynamic center for the study of art. Our courses and instructors provide outstanding foundation-level preparation in drawing, two- and three-dimensional design, art appreciation and art history. In addition to these beginning classes, we offer studio courses in ceramics, computer graphics, drawing, figure studies, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, small metals and watercolor.
