Mid Cities Fine Artists


The Mid Cities Fine Artistans was founded in 1982 as a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering education and appreciation of visusl art. In 1992 the name was changed to The Mid Cities Fine Artists, and approved by the Texas Secretary of State.

Our membership includes professional and amateur artists who share a deep appreciation of art.



Hours
MCFA monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of every month from 10:00 A.M. – 12 noon (September – May, except December)

Admission
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP DUES:

- New member $30 + $5 one-time set up fee

- New family membership (2 living in the same household) $30 for 1st one + $10 for 2nd one + $5 one-time set up fee

- Renewing member (no lapse in membership) $30

- Renewing family membership (no lapse in membership) $40

Other Information
- Monthly demonstrations by a professional/knowledgeable artist (September through May, with the exception of December).

- Artwork of the Month contest - Bring a piece of art each month (except December). First, Second and Third place winners decided by popular vote. First Place winner has the honor to hang their art at the Hurst City Hall for one month and to bring it back to the May meeting for the Painting of Year contest.

- Silent Auction at April meeting

- Members’ Judged Show in April or May (prosessional artist to judge)

- Open Annual Judged Show in August (professional artist to judge)

- Holiday Luncheon & Auction in December

- Monthly newsletters

- Announcements at monthly meetings and in the newsletter of other art opportunities
