Creative Arts Alliance

Founded in 2005, the CAA presents music and theater performances in North Texas. The organization is committed to presenting diverse, contemporary works, musical premieres and emerging composers. Jazz programming features the Creative Arts Jazz Orchestra, the ECHOS ensemble, Clave con Alma octet, Ken Edwards Trio and others. The CAA coordinated the musical component of the McKinney Art and Jazz Festival '08.

Other CAA projects include Dallas Pro Musica early music a capella quintet and Brainstorm Theater Co.

The CAA is also active in advocacy for artists to be compensated for their work. Volunteer administration and board commitment means that the money raised goes to musicians.
