idaBaby World Folk Art Studio
Pack a smock or an old t-shirt and take a trip with your creativity and imagination! Discover the secrets of art from faraway places. Make an Aztec-design amulet, Caribbean calabash bowl, Zulu story doll, a Celtic design photo frame, a Peruvian game toy and more. A world of fun!
idaBaby's World Folk Art Studio has been developed to foster knowledge and appreciation of the visual arts and world cultures. Drawing on the natural folk art tendencies of children, who love to collect buttons, bottle caps, shells, and sticks to create works of art, the Studio teaches kids about the history of this organic art form.
We offer inspiration and instruction for children to explore their creativity through crafts and also learn about all types of history and various cultures through curriculum-based folk art projects. Children will be introduced to traditional crafts that have been passed on through generations.
idaBaby's World Folk Art Studio offers and enviornment that enhances individual expression and develops self-esteem and respect for all. Classes offered through idaBaby World Folk Art Studio combine art history and world arts and cultures with pure fun.
