Word of Mouth Productions

In 2001, Word of Mouth Productions was established by Becky McCants, Carrie Varnell and Melinda Whitten as a performing company for churches, women's groups and other organizational groups needing entertainment, and a consulting/teaching company for churches with Creative/Dramatic Arts ministries. The three met as members of The Heights Baptist Church in Richardson, working together in the Creative Arts Ministries at the church. While performing for different groups within The Heights, they began being contacted by other women's groups and churches to perform, or to provide their expertise and experience for other church groups with Creative Arts/Drama Ministries, and to teach for regional, state and national Creative Arts Conferences. Since then they have expanded Word of Mouth Productions to include producing full-length plays and musicals establishing a presence in Frisco, Texas.

Word of Mouth Productions takes pride in having an expertly qualified combination of staff and performers! Our team has training and experience in acting, directing, writing, musical theatre, stage production, set design, and sound and lighting.
