Orchestra of New Spain

Dallas-based Orchestra of New Spain is committed to reintroducing the neglected repertory of the Spanish 17th and 18th centuries and to the exploration of the Hispanic heritage of which it is a part. This is achieved through high quality, historically informed performances on period instruments, ongoing academic research, the continued search for neglected repertory, and programs which educate the general public and school children on the importance of the repertory and its broader cultural implications.
