In the Saturday Spotlight, we’re taking a look at the performing arts’ future. The National Performance Network holds its annual meeting in Dallas this weekend. The group celebrates its 25th anniversary with two nights of cutting edge performances at the Majestic Theatre. Saturday’s event includes a dance/theater piece by Jane Comfort Dance and Word Becomes Flesh – a mix of dance, poetry, music and visual art presented by The Living Word Project and directed by Marc Bamuthi Joseph.
