The Goodrich Gallery of First United Methodist Church, Dallas

The Goodrich Gallery, located inside First United Methodist Church of Dallas, has exhibited painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and historical presentations featuring outstanding artist from the Southwest. The Gallery is committed to presenting the finest in art while also exhibiting works expressing religious themes and social awareness.

Gallery Hall opened in 1964 with it's first exhibit in April of that year. In 1973, courtesy of a gift from Beverly & Ben Harris, the space was redesigned and renamed The Goodrich Gallery in honor of the then Senior Minister Dr. Robert E. Goodrich, Jr. and his wife Thelma, both of whom were patrons of the arts. The gallery continues to provide a place of inspiration and enrichment for the members and guests of First United Methodist Church of Dallas with its rich variety of monthly exhibits by gifted local artists.

Receptions for the artist of the month are generally held on the first Sunday of each month from Noon to 2 p.m.
