Gilliam Public Library ( Wilmer Library)

The  E.M. Gilliam Memorial Library is located at 205 E. Beltline Road, Wilmer, Texas. The Gilliam Public Library provides free services to all residents living within the Wilmer city boundaries.

The library system holds over 16,000 materials including over 14,000 books, and 1,400 DVD's, videocassettes, compact discs, cassette tapes and books on cassette.

In total, over ten thousand items were checked out of the system during fiscal year 2009-2010!  In addition to these items, thousands of people entered the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet via five patron computers, receive or send faxes, make copies or attend one of the Library’s  events.
