STARS Theater Company

STARS provides professional guidance, education, training, and experience in theater arts to young people in Tarrant County and the surrounding area. STARS was founded in 1994 as an educational theater for young people. With a Masters Degree in Theater Arts, founder, and director, Lu Anne Tyson, developed an exciting "hands-on" approach to educational theater. STARS is unique in that every student is cast in every show.   STARS casts over 100 students annually in several productions throughout the year. STARS' trademark production is the summer musical, presented complete with a live orchestra. 

Recent productions include: BYE BYE BIRDIE, ROCK AROUND THE BLOCK, THE RAINBOW FISH, Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID, SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL, WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, and Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST

Upcoming productions include Disney's FROZEN Jr for teen actors and THE BIG BAD MUSICAL for youth ages 8-12.
