Teatro Flor Candela

Teatro Flor Candela is a non-profit artistic and educational organization founded in 2007 in Fort Worth, Texas by Patricia Urbina, Deo López, María Cabeza, Gloria Prieto, Carlos Ortega, Jesse Morales, David Lemus and Carmela Lamberti. The company has featured actors from Perú, Colombia, Spain, Italy, Guatemala and México.

TFC also works in children's theatre and regularly offers actors' workshops for beginners and more experienced artists.

Our mission is to preserve and disseminate the knowledge, appreciation, and understanding of Latin America theatre and literature through artistic and educational programs.

Patricia Urbina, the founding artistic director, studied theater in Mexico at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA) and at the Foro Teatro Contemporáneo where she studied directing under the late Ludwig Margules.
