Plush Gallery

Plush Gallery was born in the spring of 2000 with the exhibition "New Pollution". The experimental space went on to receive two Alternative Gallery of the Year Awards from the Dallas Observer.

The gallery became known for its provocative blend of street level energy and cutting edge artwork. A talented array of emerging artists developed there, including future Whitney Biennial participants, and artists featured in museum exhibitions in Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Mexico City, and New York.

Along the way, gallery owner Randall Garrett co-organized the first art fair in Dallas in 2005. Fifty shows and numerous art fairs and curatorial projects in cities such as Chicago, Houston, New York and Miami followed. In the spring of 2007 the gallery closed, in seeming finality.
