Promise of Peace Community Garden

Promise of Peace is a non profit seeking simple solutions for decreasing the dropout rate at Woodrow Wilson High School as well as reducing the teenage pregnancy rate and gang involvement in the area of this East Dallas community .

• We will establish and maintain "Life Lines" for living the best life within our urban neighborhoods.

• We will encourage community involvement for those living in the Woodrow Wilson district and the historic neighborhoods of East Dallas.

• We will provide opportunities for families to access a better life through participating in activities of learning and contribution.

By disseminating knowledge through involvement in a community garden, photography explorations, and family literacy classes, families in the Wodrow Wilson community will become more inspired to pursue an healthy and happy life.

Our ultimate goal is to transform perspectives in our urban neighborhoods.
