Brookhaven College School of the Arts - Drama Department

The Drama Department of the Brookhaven College School of the Arts gives theater students the opportunity to satisfy their dramatic creativity. With a variety of courses that cover a full range of acting and technical theater courses, the hallmark of the Drama Department is hands-on training. Students work side-by-side with professionals to design and build sets, create costumes and produce shows. Study combined with actual experience prepares our drama students to continue their formal theater education at a four-year school or to begin a professional career.

Theatre Brookhaven, the performance arm of the Drama Department, offers students and community members opportunities to participate in serious theatrical productions. Theatre Brookhaven produces two main-stage productions, two smaller productions and a summer musical for each outstanding theatrical season.
