Soniq Mystica
Who is MYSTICA: MYSTICA is an Alternative Soul/Deep House duo founded in 2018 consisting of Singer/Songwriter & Soniq Mystica aka Kali Marz and DJ/Sound Goddess & Conceptual Creative DJ Night Nurse aka Mixstique. Both residents of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex met in 2013 when Soniq was promoting and performing his then first single Magik Love Music. Soniqs soulful voice and grooves caught the attention of one of the city's most consistent, creative and visionary DJ’s Shakira Pierce aka DJ NightNurse who was the Creator and partner of a House/EDM/Electronic Collective and events company DropNitDeep. She began inviting Soniq out to events to sing, and just to be a part of the experience. The two began a friendship through music, spirituality, love and compassion for humanity, shared experiences and inclusion of people from all walks of life. It was in 2018, while Soniq was working on new music, that the two decided to partner up in a Creationship and birth MYSTICA the band. MYSTICA is soul, it’s dance, it’s a haven for the misfit, it’s healing, it’s purifying fire and an electric jungle. Currently working on their tentatively self titled EP and a “MYSTIC∆ vs…” EP With inspired lyrics and vocals over soulful house Instrumentals from Internationally known house producer/dj's.
