Musical Theater 2 (Grades 7+)

Tuesdays 5:15-6:15 p.m. January 7 - April 14, 2020
Award-winning actor and director K. Doug Miller continues to lead the DCT Musical Theater program in the fall and spring of 2019-2020.
Musical Theater 2 is for students who have completed Level 1 and are ready for more of an in-depth study of singing, acting, and dance.

REQUIREMENTS: Must have completed Musical Theater Level 1. Musical Theater Level 2 classes include:• “How to Act a Song” at the next level • Musical theater choreography• Audition techniques and resumes• 2-part harmony & music theory • Basic sight singing & ear training • Solo, duet, and group singing• More challenging improvisation, monologues, scene & character study • How to write blocking
