John Batdorf is a singer-songwriter solo artist and one half of Las Vegas Rock and Roll Hall Of Famers folk-rock duo, Batdorf & Rodney. John was the pair’s primary songwriter and singer, and his balmy musicality and tenderly uplifting lyrics fit right in alongside 1970s Laurel Canyon scene artists such as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Jackson Brown, the Eagles, and Joni Mitchell.
Four decades later, John is still on the path, navigating the curves of his musical journey with aplomb. In his five-decade career, he’s worked with icons such as Adele, James Horner, America, Rod Stewart, Donna Summer, Dwight Yoakum, David Lee Roth, and Motley Crüe, plus many others.
Batdorf has released new music collaboratively with his old partner Mark Rodney and James Lee Stanley, and since 2004, he’s released seven albums on his own. His just released CD, Me And My Guitar is a handpicked stellar seventeen song collection of unplugged, rearranged and completely re-imagined material John has recorded over the last forty seven years.
