showcasing the varied services, classes, and activities the center offers.
Their address is 810 W. Arapaho Rd. #98, Richardson, TX 75080
The Dallas Meditation Center is holding a Fall Festival that is open and free to the public on Saturday, September 28, 2019. All are invited and welcome to join the Center as they showcase their services, including interfaith meditation, yoga, Tai Chi, Qigong, music events, and other mindfulness practices. Participants will have the opportunity to learn some basic Yoga and TaiChi / Qigong movements. There will also be the opportunity to relax and enjoy a musical concert by Cornell Kinderknecht. The Center will share a joyous mindful gathering with music, singing, sitting and walking meditation, as well as a closing circle dance. A reception with light healthy food will provide an opportunity to gather, ask questions and get to know each other. As the sun sets the event will close with the Center’s monthly drum circle.
Tours of the facility will be available between showcases throughout the day. Attendees are also invited to stop in to the Center’s Lotus Room and practice meditation on their own during the day’s activities. The event is open to all members of the community who are interested in learning more about mindfulness, meditation, and the various classes and activities the Center offers.
The Center, a local nonprofit, has provided services to the Dallas community for over ten years. They offer meditation groups that meet five days a week, Tai Chi, Qigong, beginner’s meditation workshops, yoga, drum circles, speaker events, young adult groups, creative arts events and more. The Dallas Meditation Center has always offered its classes on a donation basis, never charging a set fee for weekly classes. They will also gratefully accept donations at this event.
