Exhibition: Our New Neighborhood-Past and Present

Architecture and Design Exchange

As we continue the celebration of our new home, we present an exhibition featuring Republic Center and the architecture of the past, present, and future that surrounds it. Through models, photographs, and drawings, we'll spotlight not only one of Dallas' most important mid-century modern icons, but also other landmarks in the neighborhood, especially Philip Johnson's Thanksgiving Square and our soon-to-be neighbor, Pacific Plaza Park. We'll also look at the Federal Building (original home of the Roe v. Wade decision), the I.M. Pei-designed One Dallas Center, and several other buildings that make this an important part of the architecture of downtown.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. It will run through August
