It's Frisco's biggest Fourth of July celebration! Celebrate our nation's birthday with an evening of live music, great food, local vendors and family fun during Frisco Freedom Fest. The Party in the Plaza begins at 4 p.m., with the National Anthem and flag ceremony.
During the festival, visit the Children's Expo, our Patriotic Vendor Village and the food vendors competing in the annual "Taste of Frisco".
Don't leave early! The Fireworks Extravaganza brought to you by the City of Frisco and FC Dallas, begins at the conclusion of FC Dallas' match with DC United (start time varies, depending on how long the match runs). Children's Expo
The Children's Expo is complete with jump houses, face painting, strolling entertainers and games.
Dachshund Races
Calling all dachshunds for the annual Dachshund Dash on Wednesday, July 3! Warm up to the Hotter 'n Firecrackers 5K with the cutest race in town for our four-legged friends. Each pup will run 10-15 feet from start to finish with the help of his or her owners.
$10 entry fee, paid at check-in. All proceeds go to Collin County Animal Shelter. On-site registration begins at 6:45 p.m.
Winners will receive gift baskets from our sponsors, Raising Cane's and Pappy's Pet Lodge.

Fireworks Extravaganza
Top off your night with the star of Frisco Freedom Fest, the Fireworks Extravaganza, one of the largest fireworks finales in all of North Texas.
Hotter 'N Firecrackers 5k Run
Ready, set, glow! 'Race to independence' on Wednesday, July 3 during our annual Hotter 'n Firecrackers 5K & Glow Run. Participants will light up the night as they race through Frisco Square sporting flashing LED lights and their brightest fluorescent gear.
Runners will receive a finisher medal, glow products, as well as an event t-shirt. Winners (in each category) will receive a custom medal.
Party In the Plaza
Party in the Plaza festivities will feature the Community Stage with homegrown dancers, singers and bands.
Patriotic Vendor Village
Stop by our Vendor Village and learn more about some of the businesses and civic organizations in our community.
