Fans of Star Wars can perfect their lightsaber skills at the Nicholson Memorial Library’s Lightsaber Training workshop, part of the Adult Summer Reading Program. The workshop will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20 at the Central Library.
At the workshop, library staff will explain the parts of a lightsaber and demonstrate general and choreographed lightsaber fighting techniques. There will also be time for free play with pool noodle lightsabers.
Registration is required to attend Lightsaber Training and is limited to 20 participants ages twelve and older. Registration will begin Saturday, July 6. Call 972-205-2501 to register.
