Celebrate Fourth of July Activities at the Dallas Arboretum


Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden kicks off Independence Day events with live music, $2 hot dogs and root beer floats, and complimentary beer samples. Active and retired members of the military and first responders with a valid photo I.D. will receive free general garden admission on June 29, June 30, July 4, July 6 and July 7.

Saturday, June 29

-1st Cavalry Division Band, 2-4 p.m., Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn

-Franconia Brewing Company, Noon-3 p.m., A Tasteful Place

Complimentary beer samples at the Three Sisters Lagoon Overlook.

 

Sunday, June 30

-36th Infantry Division Band, Noon -2 p.m., Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn

-Old Town Brewhouse, Noon -3 p.m., A Tasteful Place

Free samples at the Three Sisters Lagoon Overlook.

 

Thursday, July 4

-Window to the Wild bird show 10:30 a.m., Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn

Free with paid garden admission

-Cherry Pie Demonstration by Emporium Pies, 11 a.m.-Noon

Free with paid garden admission-Emporium Pies demonstrates how to make their signature cherry pie from scratch. Guests can purchase pie until 2 p.m.

-Rushmore Band, 2-4 p.m., Martin Rutchik Concert Stage and Lawn

Free with paid garden admission

-3 Nations Brewery, Noon-3 p.m., A Tasteful Place

Free beer samples at the Three Sisters Lagoon Overlook.

 

Family Fun Friday, July 5

10 a.m.-2 p.m., Pecan Grove-Activities for the little ones include Country Critters petting zoo and A Fresh Perspective face painting.
