Breaking the Cycle 2

South Dallas Cultural Center

Mental Health Speaks in collaboration with the DFW Association of Black Psychologists (DFW ABPsi) and the DFW Black Health Professionals (DFW BHP) present: BREAKING THE CYCLE 2! We are no longer being silent about mental health in the Black community. Join us as we discuss how and when to seek help and create an interactive panel for your concerns to be heard and questions answered. Topics will include warning signs for when venting becomes a need to seek professional help, how to find a mental health provider to evaluate and treat your needs, when to involve additional professionals in your care, and more. The event will consist of panel presentations and discussion featuring licensed mental health professionals. Each will share their expertise with a focus on the emotional and psychological concerns of the Black community and barriers in access to care. Light bites and drinks will be served as well as free giveaways during our raffle portion of the event. This event is not just another workshop but will be informative and engaging with group participation. You won’t want to miss this. RSVP now and bring a friend!
