Dallas Metroplex Musicians’ Association invites you to the 2019 Annual Sacred Choral Music Workshop, dedicated in memory of immediate past President, Dr. Michael G. Ford, and dedicated member, Mrs. Alyce Gaye Goff.
The Workshop will convene Monday through Friday, June 24 - June 28, 2019, 7:00 P. M. until 9:00 P. M. and the Concert will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 4:30 P. M. at Pearly Gate Baptist Church, located at 6021 University Hills Drive, Dallas, Texas 75241, Dr. Thomas J. Payne, Senior Pastor, and Dr. Robbie Moore, Pastor.
The 2019 Clinician is Mr. Dello Thedford of St. Louis, Missouri a highly sought-after workshop clinician, teacher, noted composer, and director extraordinaire. We continue to be favored with staffing this event with highly experienced guest Clinicians steeped in the sacred and choral music traditions.
Pre-registration is $30.00 per person and is available through May 31, 2019. After May 31st, registration is $35.00 per person. Registration will be conducted on-site during the Workshop. This endeavor and other events sponsored by DMMA enable us to award scholarships to worthy students who are pursuing excellence in music, and we proudly acknowledge the awarding of three scholarships during last year’s Concert.
