Taste Addison

Addison Circle Park

Since its inception in 1993, Taste Addison has earned a reputation for curating the most exciting collection of musical entertainment and pairing it with a menu of culinary treats that showcases the city’s celebrated restaurant history. When the festival returns May 31 – June 2, it will again present an array of musical legends sure to please everyone.

Friday night, Taste Addison celebrates the diversity of country music in America.  The contemporary sounds of Nashville artist Walker Hayes kicks off the festival, with fan favorites like 2017’s ‘You Broke up with Me’ and 2018’s tribute song ‘90’s Country.’  Then, the Josh Abbott Band revels in Texas country with songs like 2011’s ‘Oh Tonight,’ which launched the career of Kasey Musgraves and 2015’s ‘Amnesia.’

On Saturday, Taste Addison takes a momentous road trip across the pop music landscape of the 1990s and early 2000s.  Denton’s Deep Blue Something brings energy to the festival opening with their hit ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s.’  Then, the Spin Doctors return to Taste Addison with an array of platinum-selling cuts, including 1991’s ‘Two Princes’ and ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong.’ Chicago natives Plain White T’s then take to the stage with decades of hits including 2006’s ‘Hey There Delilah.’  California pop-rock band Smash Mouth reunited in 2018, and joins the Taste Addison lineup with fan faves like 1997’s ‘Walkin’ on the Sun’ and 1999’s smash hit ‘All Star.’  Oklahoma natives The All American Rejects close out the evening with some of the biggest hits of the 2000’s, including 2005’s ‘Dirty Little Secret,’ and 2008’s ‘Gives You Hell.’

On Sunday, Taste Addison finishes the weekend with a collection of legendary songs.  An array of the country’s top tribute bands will celebrate the music of bands that spread the decades of Taste Addison’s history.

“Just like Addison restaurants serve tasty delights that suit every palate, Taste Addison presents musical entertainment which offers something for everyone,” notes Jasmine Lee, Addison’s Director of Special Events. “We feel that this legendary lineup of artists is a great complement for the food and fun for which Taste Addison is known.”
