Summer Art Camp: Fixer Upper (Ages 6-8)

Dallas Museum of Art

June 24-28, 9:00 a.m.-noon

Ages 6-8
Teacher: Whitney Sirois

Aspiring architects and determined designers, put your building skills to work in this camp all about the art we live with. Explore funky sofas, colorful stained glass windows, and patterns from around the world in the galleries. Then head into the studio, where each camper will start with a miniature playhouse and transform it into a superhero's hideout, a cat castle, a dollhouse, or whatever your imagination can dream up. We'll turn fixer-uppers into true design stars!

*This camp requires an additional materials fee of $40 per camper to cover the cost of the playhouse (measures 23 x 9 x 23 inches).

$250 public, $215 DMA Member; tickets go on sale March 2 at 10:00 a.m. DMA Members may register early on March 1.

Lunch Bunch (limited to 6–12-year-olds)
Summer campers who are registered for a morning and afternoon camp on the same day are invited to stay for a one-hour supervised lunch. Please bring a sack lunch that does not require refrigeration.
