Dallas Mayoral Arts & Culture Forum

Nasher Sculpture Center

Dallas Area Cultural Advocacy Coalition (DACAC) will be holding its Dallas Mayoral Arts & Culture Forum so the candidates can address important issues facing the nonprofit arts and cultural community in Dallas. The forum will be at the Nasher Sculpture Center on Monday, March 25 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 4 p.m. with a chance to meet the candidates. The forum is free but registration at bit.ly/dallasmayorsforum is required.

Mayoral candidates will share their views on the arts and cultural community, supporting the vibrant and growing nonprofit creative economy, arts funding, the recently approved Cultural Plan, using the arts to address challenges and opportunities in our city, and more. The forum is part of the newly launched ArtsVote Dallas program in conjunction with the statewide arts advocacy group Texans for the Arts. ArtsVote Dallas aims to engage candidates running for office in Dallas about arts, culture, and creative expression and the role they play in building a more vibrant, connected and equitable Dallas.
