Louisiana Caajun Bash & Boil


Gas Monkey Live

The Dallas Chapter of the LSU Alumni Association announces the Louisiana Cajun Bash & Boil is coming to Gas Monkey Live (10110 Technology Blvd E, Dallas, TX 75220) on April 27th, 2019 from 1 pm until 6 pm. It’s the chapter’s 39th Annual Crawfish Boil to raise Scholarship money for students in the Dallas/Fort Worth area going to LSU. LSU Alumni Dallas anticipates over 900+ people to enjoy the unique Southern Cultural experience of over 3000 lbs. of live Louisiana crawfish with corn and potatoes, plus crawfish étouffée, red beans and rice, crawfish pistolettes, among other mouthwatering delights. It is a friends and family affair. Big Daddie The DJ will be performing on the stage. Beignets, (New Orleans style donuts) are made fresh on site and New Orleans style snow cones (snow cones with ice cream in the middle and condensed milk drizzled on top) will be available for kids of all ages! Guests can also enjoy all the FREE beer, sodas and water (while it lasts), as well as a full bar. Face painters and a balloon artist will be there for kids to enjoy. Rounding off the event will be the Live and Silent Auctions and Raffles. With the true purpose of the event is to raise money for scholarships. Dean McCurry Auctioneer Services will be auctioning off the famous Blue Dog and New Orleans Saints/Drew Brees Blue Dog paintings (by artist George Rodrigue), trips to Napa Valley, Cuba, Tuscany, Bahamas, and more. A 5-course dinner for 6 by Top Chef Tre Wilcox will be auctioned off along with an exclusive Dallas Cowboys Gameday Experience, and a customizable 4-person golf cart. The live auction will be topped off with a live painting by Lance Brown. There will be many opportunities to bid on silent auction items from the Dallas Cowboys, Houston Astros, LSU, as well as many local items too.
