Opening Reception: Surround Sound

Austin-based artist Rachel Wolfson Smith announces Surround Sound, a new series of twelve large-scale graphite and pigment drawings on view at the Fort Worth Community Arts Center, April 5 – 25, 2019. The works, some of which measure 6 x 12 feet in scale, feature dense landscapes, crashed cars and handwritten notations punctuated by splashes of color.

Held in conjunction with Dallas Art Month, Surround Sound opens with a reception on April 5 from 6-9 PM in the Front Gallery of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center.
