Texas Visual Arts Association 2019 High School Art Competition.

Please join us celebrating the amazing young talent here in Texas. More than 150 wonderful pieces have been selected from more than 1,000 submissions are on view in the SP/N Gallery. The exhibition shows the vast range of young talent in Texas, in all imaginable media. It is likely the first public exhibition for many of the young artists, but definitely not their last.

This year’s esteemed jurors:

Brian K Jones – Multiple Media Artist, and part of collaborative duo Chuck & George.

Greg Metz- Artist, Educator, and Director of SP/N Gallery

Rachel Pogerson – Director of the MAC (McKinney Avenue Contemporary)

John Spriggins – Educator and General Manager of the South Dallas Cultural Center

The exhibition runs through March 24th, culminating with the awards reception.
