Come by moved by one of the great choral works of the 20th century that the New York Times has called, "sweet, somber and mysterious." Maurice Duruflé's powerful and devotional Requiem will be performed by the Choirs of the University of Texas at Tyler, together with CANTORI - Choral Artists of East Texas, an exciting new high caliber regional choir of 50 singers.
The combined choirs, chamber orchestra, and organ will be under the direction of Dr. Cameron Rose, Director of Choral Activities at UT Tyler and Music Director of Cantori.
The musicians are pleased to be performing for the first time at the historic First Baptist Church, at 301 West Ferguson in downtown Tyler.
Join us for this historic and richly-voiced concert!
