Cecile Richards Presents Make Trouble: Stand Up, Speak Out, Find Courage

Interabang Books

Cecile Richards comes to Interabang Books to discuss MAKE TROUBLE: STAND UP, SPEAK OUT, AND FIND THE COURAGE TO LEAD upon her book's publication in paperback.

Seating for this special event is general admission, and a ticket purchase is required because we expect the store to fill to capacity. Each ticket includes a copy of MAKE TROUBLE, and the event includes a book signing by Richards after her presentation. Please note: In the event a ticketholder is unable to attend, we will not refund the ticket purchase but will reserve a signed copy of the book for him or her to pick up the week of April 1.

Cecile Richards is the former president of Planned Parenthood for more than a decade, daughter of the late Ann Richards, featured speaker at the Women’s March on Washington, and “the heroine of the resistance” (Vogue).

After years of advocacy, resistance, and progressive leadership, she now shares her story for the first time — from the joy and heartbreak of activism to the challenges of raising kids, having a life, and making change, all the while garnering a reputation as “the most badass feminist EVER” (Teen Vogue).
