Each spring The Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary hosts its annual Fashion Show & Luncheon to raise money and awareness for over 70 services provided in the DFW Metroplex. Such critical funding can help provide a safe haven for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, shelters for the homeless – including substance abuse rehabilitation, along with after-school and summer day camp programs for children in our community.
Our 2019 event will be held at the AT&T Performing Arts Center, Margot and Bill Winspear Opera House, 2403 Flora Street, Dallas, on Tuesday, May 7.
We are pleased to introduce Elizabeth Gambrell as our 2019 Fashion Show & Luncheon Chair! A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas School of Law, Elizabeth is an active civic volunteer.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Community Partners of Dallas and The Senior Source. She is a member of The Crystal Charity Ball Committee and a sustaining member of The Junior League of Dallas and The Cattle Baron’s Ball Committee. Gambrell has chaired the Spirit of Generations Luncheon for The Senior Source, the Chick Lit Luncheon for Community Partners of Dallas, the Each Moment Matters Luncheon for the Presbyterian Communities and Services Foundation, and the Heroes and Handbags Luncheon for Heroes for Children. She has also chaired the Junior League of Dallas Ball, the La Fiesta de las Seis Banderas Gala and Committee, and Launchability’s Special Evening. She has served as President of the Women of St. Michael, Park Cities Talented and Gifted, New Friends New Life’s Friends auxiliary, and ChildCareGroup’s auxiliary.
