Art Exhibition - Nature: Landscapes of the Heart

Irving Public Library: Valley Ranch Library

Artist of the Month Art Reception - Ambreen Charania - Nature: Landscapes of The Heart

"Landscapes of the Heart" is a journey. It's the journey of friends, family, and the world around us. Every time we take a turn, we meet a friendly face or encounter a person with whom we share our time. We choose to come into their world a little bit and allow them to discover a little bit of our world.

The world around us is amazing. We are lost in our cell phones, smart watches, and tablets, are we not? Whether we take the time to really take in the scenery once in a while is up to us.

Stop and smell the flowers & come explore paintings and sketches in pastels, watercolors, acrylics, chalk, pen and pencil, and clay mediums.

The collection has grown to include newer paintings that delve into themes of abstraction dealing with the sun, light of the human soul, and also a lighthearted rendition of Van Gogh.

Oh, and please leave your checkbooks at home because they are not for sale. :D But, I may create one just for you. I've been fortunate to teach art and music to kids and adults in schools and at the Coppell Recreation Center and volunteer in churches.

I am pleased to share with you that this art exhibition is also on a journey. It started at the North Richland Hills Public Library, then at the newly renovated Hurst Public Library, and now has been invited to be displayed at the scenic Valley Ranch Public Library- with a glass gallery right inside the foyer.
