Come hear about the Holocaust from Sarah Korman, daughter of two survivors. Sarah was born in Drama, Greece and came to the United States when she was three years old. Her parents survived the intolerable existence in concentration camps for three years, but each lost almost every member of their family in the Holocaust. They immigrated to the United States in 1951 wishing to give their young family a better life.
This public talk is presented by the Junior World Affairs Council Chapter of Lake Highlands High School's Global Awareness Speaker Series. It is free and open to the public. Seating is limited to 150.
