The Ken Davis Chorale is comprised of singers united together through the artistic direction and inspiration of Ken Davis. They come to the DFW area to prepare and perform from all over the state of Texas and also many other states around the country. The kinship began in 1989 at Texas Tech University when Ken Davis was appointed Director of Choral Activities. For eleven years, The University Choir, under Davis' direction, received numerous invitations to perform at the Texas Music Educators Association Convention, the American Choral Directors Association Convention, Lincoln Center and to participate in a professional recording by Naxos Records. Twenty-five years after Davis' appointment, former members of the University Choir now join together to renew their spirits and their song. The result is this inspiring choral ensemble dedicated to bringing beauty and moving accomplishments to the arts so desperately needed by a world in search of peace and harmony.
