Sammons Cabaret: GOGA

Popular crooner Goga opens the spring 2019 season of the Carson Series of Sammons Cabaret. After moving to Dallas in 2000, Goga was introduced to the music of legendary American artists Buddy Guy, Marvin Gaye, and Barry White. He combined their influences with his Eastern European roots to put a new spin on an extensive repertoire of jazz, blues, R&B, soul, and international favorites... His vocal prowess and ability to transition effortlessly between genres are not his only draws; he composes songs and plays piano and guitar. Known for giving audiences unforgettable showmanship, Goga radiates a passion for performance!

Sammons Cabaret is held at the Sammons Center for the Arts, 3630 Harry Hines at Oak Lawn. Tickets are $45 per person and include beverages, light appetizers, and valet parking. Refreshments are served beginning at 7:00 p.m. concerts begin at 8:00 p.m. Each concert features two performance sets of about 40 minutes each with an intermission between. Dress is generally business casual, but some wear cocktail attire.
