Happy New Year to all! The Poetry Society of Texas (a Chapter member of the National Federation of State Poetry Societies) meets in Dallas at 2:30 p.m. at the Preston Royal Library, 5626 Royal Lane (one block west of Dallas North Tollway). Please join us for our first monthly meeting in 2019 on Saturday, January 12. Bring poems and participate in our Parade of Poems at our annual Poem-a-thon. Those in attendance will take turns reading their own poems or poems by their favorite poet/s, round-robin style.
Winners of the monthly poetry and laugh lines contests will be announced and prizes will be awarded accordingly.
There will also be our annual Memorial Service for members we lost in 2018.
President Dr. Amanullah Khan will preside the meeting.
