Greg Piazza: Everything Changes Tomorrow

Gallery 7NINE

Gallery 7NINE in Dallas is pleased to announce the opening of "Everything Changes Tomorrow", a solo exhibition of new canvas paintings by Greg Piazza, an Abstract Expressionist painter and photographer. An opening reception for the artist will be held Saturday, February 23rd, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. The exhibition continues through Friday, May 31, 2019.

The title of the exhibition and the body of work comes from the Abstract Expressionist's examination and ideas of life and time, its progression and relapses, its precision and chaos regardless of thought and planning. The paintings relate to race, gender equality, age discrimination, aging and death, and our economic class system. "Everything Changes Tomorrow" is an ongoing series that the artist began in 2018, and will continue as new themes enter our lives. The works vary in size from 24 x 12 inch (diptych) to 96 x 72 inch and are acrylic on canvas.

Greg Piazza's artwork has been exhibited in both museums and galleries throughout the United States and has been included in exhibitions such as The National: Best of Contemporary Photography 2018, 40 Under 40 Exhibition curated by Maggie Adler, Curator for the Amon Carter Museum, and recently reviewed in Republican American for his exhibition at the Mattatuck Museum. Greg's artworks are included in the permanent collections of the Fort Wayne Museum of Art, and numerous corporate and private collections.
