Spiderweb Salon: New Year's Revolution

Dan's Silverleaf

HERE: LET US MANIFEST THE FUTURE. WE WILL SPEAK OUR TRUTHS. TRY SOMETHING NEW. JOIN CREATIVE FORCES. RESIST. CREATE JOY. MAKE ART. SURVIVE.

It's Spiderweb Salon's SEVENTH ANNUAL WINTER FORMAL, but it's like nothing you've seen yet from Denton's most prolific creative force! Join us for a radical costume party and carnival of creativity, where we'll set intentions for 2019, cleanse ourselves of any negativity clinging from the year before, and celebrate you & us as a unified creative collective! (OUR FULL ARTIST DIRECTORY OF CO-CREATORS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT THE START OF THE YEAR!)

We'll also be releasing our new collaborative zine about magick & mystery: THE BOOK OF SHADOWS!

Cover is $10, unless you're a qualifying Patreon supporter!** Signup before January 1 and we'll add you to the VIP list: www.patreon.com/spiderwebsalon

Come out to support some of your favorite artists, writers, musicians, performers, bakers, makers, and dreamers. Yes, it's a costume party! Dress up! Wear a mask! Take off your mask! Be extra! Come as you are! Make a friend! Challenge yourself! Even if you just manage to leave the house to come say hello, WE'RE PROUD OF YOU! It's a NEW YEAR'S REVOLUTION.

ABOUT SPIDERWEB SALON:
Our collective's goals are simple and haven't changed all that much since we first began in 2012, but we're working harder than ever to be oriented toward social justice, skill sharing, and community building. We always aim to create & collaborate constantly, to curate places, events, and publications where folks can develop and share their creativity, learn new skills, and come together to create a space of radical love and care for one another. Spiderweb Salon has a zero-tolerance policy for racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or discriminatory hate in any form; it is of the utmost importance to us that our community has a safe space to share their art, try new things, make lifelong friends and collaborators, and express themselves freely. If you align with these values and want to take your creative output to new heights, let’s create together!
