Hour of Code

Irving Public Library: East Library and Learning Center

Get with the programs and learn computer coding at free classes for children, teens, and adults! During December's Computer Science Education Week from Dec. 3-9, each library location hosts an Hour of Code for a variety of ages. In addition, Valley Ranch Library is offering new sessions of Girls Who Code for grades 6-12, and that's not all: Girls Who Code classes are scheduled twice monthly at Valley Ranch Library through March 2019, and interested students who don't attend in person may explore the topics covered through links on a specially-designated Facebook page. Please see the Irving Public Library website for more information about all coding classes, including regarding pre-registration and the classes requiring participants to bring their own electronic devices and/or chargers.
