Mexican Cinema: Santa Claus (1959)

Santa Claus works in his castle of Juguetilandia in outer space and fights with a demon sent to Earth by Lucifer to ruin Christmas by making all the children of Earth do evil.

From the director René Cardona, the movie was filmed in Mexico City and is in Spanish. This film won the Golden Gate Award for Best International Family Film at the San Francisco International Film Festival in 1959.

Admission is free, but voluntary donations are welcome. Limited space for 30 people. You are required to book your place in advance.

The movie is presented by Nancy Fund, a nonprofit organization that supports and promotes the creative work of Latinx LGBTQ artists.
