Film Screening and Discussion: The Short Life of Anne Frank


Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum

Join us for a screening of the film The Short Life of Anne Frankfollowed by a discussion with Dr. Charlotte Decoster, Director of Education at the Dallas Holocaust Museum.

The Short Life of Anne Frank tells the Frank family’s story through quotations from Anne’s diary, photographs from the Frank family albums, and historical film. It also includes the only known video footage of Anne Frank. Following the film, Dr. Decoster will discuss recent research on the Frank family, including the question of how the Nazis discovered their hiding place, and take questions from the audience.

Film run time: 30 minutes

About Dr. Decoster:

Charlotte Decoster, PhD is the Director of Education for the Dallas Holocaust Museum. An experienced educator, she has researched, taught, and written extensively on Holocaust history. She holds a PhD in History from the University of North Texas. She regularly speaks on the Holocaust, specifically children and child rescue.
