TCU School of Music at the Bass is proud to present “Celebrating 100 Years of Leonard Bernstein” — a vibrant, commemorative performance of Bernstein’s timeless compositions at Bass Performance Hall on Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. The TCU Symphony Orchestra will join the TCU Concert Chorale and distinguished alumni soloists for an evening featuring a celebratory curation of Bernstein’s acclaimed works, including the Overture to Candide, Symphonic Dances from West Side Story, Chichester Psalms and more.
The tribute performance is part of a worldwide movement, Leonard Bernstein at 100 — a two-year global celebration of the life and career of the 20th century cultural giant, featuring more than 2,500 events on six continents. Fans of his work as a composer, conductor, educator or humanitarian are invited to Celebrating 100 Years of Leonard Bernstein at Bass Performance Hall on Oct. 22, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for TCU students, faculty and staff are free, but required. General admission tickets are $20, and $10 for seniors and students.
