Coppell Community Orchestra Presents MASKS: Composers In Disguise

The Coppell Community Orchestra invites those of all ages to their season opener on Sunday, October 21 at 3pm in the Cozby Library located at 177 N Heartz Rd in Coppell. Admission for this concert is free, though donations are appreciated and tax-deductible. This concert, entitled “Masks: Composers in Disguise”, will feature works where composers stepped out of their typical style and were inspired by other cultures or events of their day. The works featured include Capriccio Espagnol (a Spanish piece written by a Russian composer), a German Polka written by a French composer, American Suite by Dvorak and even a piece where Haydn steps out of character and surprises everyone. This hour long concert will entertain and educate those of all ages.
