The Hughes Family Tribute Center will present its fourth Dia de los Muertos Fiestaa on Friday, November 2 in Crown Hill Memorial Park. The cemetery, located in the Bachman Lake area, is traditionally visited by families on Dia de los Muertos. The Fiesta will build on this tradition by presenting an Opening Parade; dance performances by Grupo Pakal, specializing in Mayan dance presentations, and Alegre Ballet Folklorico; traditional face painting; altar building and blessing; children’s activities; live mariachi music; a costume contest; and a free showing of the Disney Pixar movie, Coco, at 7:30 p.m. The Fiesta is free and open to the public.
