Trisstah Brittany Wagstaff is an artist currently living in Waco, Texas. She graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting in 2014 and is currently a candidate for her Master of Fine Arts in painting through the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia. Her work will be published in both the upcoming summer and winter volumes of Studio Visit Magazine. She has also been published in issues 5 and 6 of the Port City Review.
Sacred In-between is Wagstaff’s MFA thesis exhibition. Her thesis addresses the strange places that beauty is found within deep loss of grief. Her paintings are large scale and otherworldly. She uses watered down paint to create forms that are both haunting and beautiful.
