Ning Zhou, Piano


Trinity Presbyterian Church - Flower Mound

Ning Zhou, winner of the 2018 Concerto Competition at the University of North Texas, is the featured artist at the first Lewisville Lake Symphony International Chamber Concert.  A native of China, Mr. Zhou is currently pursuing his DMA at the UNT College of Music.  He has competed in the 2013 Van Cliburn Piano Competition in Fort Worth, the 2015 Chopin Competition in Warsaw, and was a finalist in the 2015 Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition in Brussels.  He will perform works by Chopin, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, and Liszt.  This concert, which is free of charge to the public, is one of 2000 concerts in over 80 countries that commemorate the life of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal’s South Asia Bureau Chief, who was kidnapped and assassinated by terrorists in Pakistan while working on a story about Al-Queda.
